BILLINGS- A Wyoming motorcyclist was killed and two people were injured on a secondary Montana highway Friday afternoon when the motorcyclist collided with an oncoming vehicle.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the 66-year-old Sheridan man was traveling westbound on Montana Secondary Highway 314 near the town of Kirby, Montana at 2:15 p.m. when he crossed a double yellow line at a right hand curve in the road and struck an eastbound Ford Escort.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, speed and alcohol did not appear to be factors, but roads were wet at the time of the crash.
The 66-year-old female driver, also from Sheridan, Wyoming, sustained a minor injury in the crash but did not require medical attention.
An unidentified passenger in the Escort also sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
Both the driver and the passenger of the Ford Escort were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
