A woman is in custody and a man is being treated at the hospital after a shooting at a residence in Bozeman Wednesday evening.
No names are being released at this time, but Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin says it was a civil incident involving a man and woman who were not romantically involved. Both are believed to be in their 50s. The woman was being treated at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and was in custody there. She is facing a charge of attempted deliberate homicide, Gootkin said.
Deputies were called to a mobile home in Reed Trailer Court off of Springhill Road at around 5:30 p.m. where a man was shot. He was transported to the hospital and was being treated this evening for non-life threatening injuries. The woman also went to the emergency room.
There are multiple crime scenes - the mobile home, at the hospital and a vehicle. The sheriff could not comment on how the vehicle was involved, but said he should be able to release more details soon.
Yellow crime scene tape roped off the mobile home where the incident took place.
Leonard Reed, who owns the trailer park, said the residents of the home are usually very quiet. Reed said he didn't hear anything at the residence at the time of the shooting.
Deputies continue to investigate. We will bring you more details as we receive them.
