The Glacier County Sheriff's office is investigating the death of a 21-year-old woman found yesterday north of Browning.
According to a press release from the sheriff's office, the woman was reported missing on Thursday to Blackfeet Tribal Law Enforcement.
The woman had been driving a car that got stuck, officers said. Officers found the car on a rural road Thursday, but not the woman.
Several agencies assisted in the search Thursday, which was suspended overnight. Crews resumed early Friday morning and located the woman's body around noon just north of Browning.
Officials say the cause of death is still under investigation.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.
Officers didn't say exactly where the body was found or what they think led to her death.
