HELENA - A Helena woman, who drove drunk and caused a four-car crash on Montana Avenue in March, has pleaded guilty to violating several conditions of her sentence.
Ashley Binion, 27, admitted to consuming alcohol on at least three separate occasions in June, after she was sentenced and served 30 days in jail.
Under the petition to revoke charges, Binion now faces a maximum 12-year sentence for charges that were filed earlier. She must also pay restitution of about $60,000 to the victims injured in the crash.
Binion's lawyer asked the judge to let her out on her own recognizance so she could attend an alcohol treatment program; Judge Menehan denied the request.
Binion remains in jail on a $50,000 bond until her sentencing date, which is scheduled for the end of August.
Binion has two previous DUI's in the past five years.
