MISSOULA - A Missoula woman accused of running over a Missoula police officer could face eight years in prison for violating her probation.

Dawnette Jean Eaton could face an additional 50 years in prison for the charges stemming from last Monday's incident when she reportedly backed over Officer Deni Poling.

Poling and Lt. Rich Stepper tried to arrest Eaton on a warrant when she put her car in reverse and hit Poling.

The judge told Eaton to be ready to enter a plea in her alleged probation violation case when she appears again next week.
