Winter weather advisory up for the West Yellowstone area

Winter Weather Advisory is up from 6pm tonight to 6 p.m. Wednesday for southern Madison and southern Gallatin counties.

Snow accumulations: 2" to 4" is likely with up to 7" in the mountains and over the passes.

Locations affected: Targhee Pass, Raynolds Pass, West Yellowstone, Hebgen Lake Basin, Lionhead and Southern Madison range.

Winter weather advisories are issued when periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving and with outdoor recreation and hunting.
