Winter Storm Watch is up for Southern Madison and Southern Gallatin counties tonight through Thursday morning.

Raynolds Pass, Targhee Pass and West Yellowstone could see snow accumulations between 5" to 10" with a foot of snow possible over the higher peaks.

West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph will create areas of blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibilities to one half mile at times.

Conditions look favorable for moderate to heavy snow and gusty winds producing hazardous travel conditions in these areas.

Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard will update the travel forecast tonight at 5:30pm and 10pm.
