WINTER STORM WARNING has been issued for Northern Gallatin County including the Bridger Range until 5am Wednesday.
An Arctic Cold front will continue to move south through the area and bring sharply falling temperatures, gusty North winds and periods of snow and blowing snow. Heaviest accumulations will be through this afternoon with snowfall rates up to 2" per hour in the Bridgers.
Total snow accumulations of 10" to 20" are expected in the Bridger Range.
Winds: North winds 15-25 mph will create blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibilities to less than one mile at times.
Temperatures will be dropping down into the lower teens to single digits by this afternoon and the combination of gusty winds will create wind chill values of 0 to -10 below zero at times.
Locations affected: Battle Ridge Pass, Bozeman Pass, Bozeman, West Yellowstone, Targhee Pass.
