At 9 a.m., a dry slot was pushing up through the West Yellowstone and Bozeman areas keeping us dry with a little sunshine poking out and mild as well.
Snow is increasing in Butte and Helena as well as Homestake Pass, Boulder Hill and Elk Park areas as the colder air slowly digs to the south and east.
Snow should be increasing in the Bozeman area as the colder air digs in late morning or early afternoon. Significant accumulations are still possible, despite the slow start this morning, and Winter Storm Warnings remain in place through Friday evening.
Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard will have an update on the forecast at 5:30pm and 10pm tonight on KBZK and additional updates throughout the day here on KBZK.com.
