Winter Weather Advisories cover SW Montana tonight into early Friday morning.
Snow is likely! Snow levels will drop overnight down to the valley floors and 2"-6" of snow is possible tonight through Friday morning. Mountain passes could see 3"-6" or more and higher mountains above 6,000' could see 6"-10" of snow tonight through early Friday morning.
Heavy wet snow could lead to tree damage and sporadic power outages. Hazardous travel conditions will likely develop over the mountain passes with periods of wet snow and slush, icing, gusty winds and low visibilities at times.
