A big weather pattern change is expected next week! The unseasonably cold air covering Montana today will slowly push off into the eastern half of the country by this weekend and early next week.
A large high pressure ridge will swing into the western half of the country beginning Monday of next week and advance across the Rockies by Wednesday of next week.
Forecast temperatures have a 30% to 40% chance of soaring above normal. It's possible high temperatures could rise up into the 70's with a few very low 80's by the end of next week around the 26th of April.
This blocking high will also produce below normal precipitation across Montana during this time period.
