United Airlines about to enter its second year with a direct flight from Bozeman to Newark.
Airport Director Sprenger says the flight can practically sustain itself.
This means that the federal grant along with local funds that were raised to guarantee the flight can now be used to expand service.
Starting June 30, United will offer two direct flights a week on Saturday and Sunday.
Sprenger adds that depending on how things go, there is talk about expanding by even more days in the future.
