UM worker falls off stadium Jumbotron

MISSOULA - The cold weather may have played a role in a UM employee falling off the Jumbotron at Washington Grizzly stadium Saturday.

Battalion Chief Dave Wolter says the man fell six to eight feet off a ladder onto the catwalk below.

The city fire department responded using high-angle rescue techniques to get the man down safely.

Wolter says the worker is being treated with minor injures at St. Patrick Hospital.

Fire officials didn't know why the man was out working.
