Expect pockets of cool rain to accompany cooler air across western and southwestern Montana for the afternoon and evening. Area wind will stay out of the southwest for most of the day between 10-20 mph leaving daytime highs ranging from the middle 50s to middle 60s. Light showers will continue into the evening with a few snowflakes possible overnight in areas above 6500 feet. A winter weather watch will be in effect from Wednesday morning through Thursday evening as our winter storm lowers our snow levels to below 5500 feet in some cases. Butte and Anaconda could expect anywhere between 2-5 inches of snow by Thursday. Bozeman will mostly deal with rain, though 1-2 inches of snow is possible by Thursday.
