A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Bridger Range in Southwest Montana through 5 AM Wednesday and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the rest of the viewing area through 5 AM Wednesday. The Bridger Mountains are expected to see between 12-24 inches of new snow with 2-4 inches expected for the vast majority of the advisory area. Locally higher amounts can be expected as a significant cold front drives through Southwest Montana through Tuesday afternoon. Expect temperatures to fall into the middle teens for the afternoon east of the divide while temperatures are expected to make it into the low 20's west of the divide. Use caution on roadways and mountain passes for the next several days as snow is expected to continue off and on through Thursday evening.
