MISSOULA - A winter weather advisory remains in place until 9 a.m. on Monday for a combination of some light snow or freezing rain in the valleys.
We haven't seen much accumulation so far, but this latest system could bring another 6" to 10" at the higher elevations, and that's making driving over the passes tricky again.
The Montana Department of Transportation was reporting some freezing rain early Monday morning on Lookout Pass, pushing east into the Lower Clark Fork Valley.
Showers should abate as we go through the morning, with mostly cloudy skies by Monday afternoon. Those clouds will help warm us up a bit, with highs today reaching the upper 20s.
Unsettled weather will be the outlook for the entire week. After a break on Tuesday there's a chance for more snow again Wednesday, and perhaps again as we move into next weekend.
