GREAT FALLS - Cascade County emergency crew were dispatched on Tuesday afternoon for a rescue attempt on the Missouri River.
The call came in just after 5:30 p.m. that a male teen had gone under the water near the Big Bend fishing access area about 12 miles south of Great Falls.
At least 16 people from Cascade County Search & Rescue and the Sheriff's office are involved in the search.
Captain Ray Hitchcock with the Sheriff's Office says crews will search until dark and if they didn't find the boy, they plan to resume the search on Wednesday.
