The Montana Tech Volleyball team showed their support for Mariah's Challenge at their match against Rocky Mountain College on Thursday.

The players wore raspberry colored jerseys to raise awareness for the organization. During the day the team visited Kennedy and Butte Central Elementary and Jr. High, according to Kristin King, senior captain for the Montana Tech Volleyball Team. They explained the challenge to not drink while you are underage and to never get behind the wheel when you are under the influence.

Mariah's Challenge was started by Leo McCarthy whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver in 2007. McCarthy was recently nominated to be a Top CNN Hero. At Thursday night's game the crowd could qualify for prizes by using their smartphone to vote for McCarthy to be the Top CNN Hero. McCarthy has the opportunity to win $250,000 for Mariah's Challenge if he is voted the Top CNN Hero. You can vote for McCarthy by logging onto heroes.cnn.com.
