Tech To Play Morningside in First Round of Playoffs

Montana Tech (8-2) will head on the road as their quest for a national title begins next Saturday. The NAIA announced the 16 team playoff pairings today and the Diggers will have a tough task ahead of them as they will take on number 3 ranked and unbeaten Morningside(10-0) out of Iowa in the first round. The two will square off against each other next Saturday at 1 p.m. The Diggers are one of just two teams selected for the playoffs out of the Frontier Conference, along with Southern Oregon (8-2).

It's the first time since 2005 that Montana Tech will play in the postseason.
