Tech's Berg Named Special Teams Player of the Week

Freshman kicker Matt Berg was named the Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.

The Butte native went two for two on field goals and four for four on point after attempts in the Orediggers 42-6 victory over Dickinson State this past weekend. His ten points in the game ties his career and season
best. Berg had ten points in the win against Southern Oregon on Homecoming.

This is the fifth Frontier Player of the Week nod for the team this season. Nick Baker, Mike Touzinsky, Ketwaun Frank and Travis Farewell were all honored previously.

Montana Tech is off this week. They face the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers the following week in LeGrande, Oregon.
