The Bozeman School board had their first chance to hear from the Boundary Realignment Committee after hearing reaction from the community.

Superintendent Rob Watson describes Monday night's meeting as "productive," with several public comments and questions about the change. Realignment became necessary when the district started building its 8th elementary school. The district has come up with 3 options for the change.

While challenging, superintendent of Bozeman schools, Rob Watson says the district is paying attention to families who may have to go elsewhere.

"We're listening to the parents that are going to be impacted, to hear what kind of questions or concerns they have," says Watson.

There is one more public meeting scheduled, Wednesday at noon at Longfellow.
