MISSOULA - A man is facing charges for driving the wrong way on U.S. Highway 93 South while under the influence of synthetic marijuana.
Omar Rodriguez-Martinez is facing a DUI and a Criminal Endangerment charge for the Wednesday incident.
Prosecutors say several people called 911 to report the defendant driving the wrong way between Missoula and Lolo, and forcing them to swerve out of his way.
Deputies found a cigarette in Rodriguez-Martinez car which tested positive for the synthetic marijuana "spice".
Prosecutors say he bought the "spice" at a store in Missoula. A recently signed state law will soon make it illegal for stores to sell this product.
