BILLINGS - Emergency crews responded to the intersection of East 6th Street and Hazel Avenue in Laurel on Friday morning for a collision involving a school bus and an SUV.

The call came in shortly before 10 a.m.

According to Laurel Police Chief Rick Musson, no one was injured.

The school bus had some front end damage. There were no children on board at the time of the crash.

The Ford Expedition was turned onto its driver's side, but the female driver was able to climb out and did not require any medical attention.

The intersection was blocked off as the Laurel Fire Department pushed the vehicle back onto its tires.

Even though the school bus struck the SUV, Musson said the driver of the Ford Expedition will be cited because she failed to yield at the intersection.
