HELENA - Cost Cutters hair salon employees got quite a scare on Wednesday afternoon when they watched a car drive right through their front door.
According to Helena police, around 1:30 p.m. a maroon SUV pulling up to the front door of Cost Cutters had a mechanical malfunction and drove through the glass doors of the salon.
Nobody was injured in the SUV or in the store.
Cost Cutters manager Megan Ries was working the front desk at the time and found herself only feet away from where the SUV stopped.
"I was just cashing out a client and we were up here talking and out of nowhere a vehicle came through the front of the salon. It sounded like an explosion, glass products everywhere and screaming, it was chaotic. I started crying and freaking out but the guys down the walk and everybody was pretty good about helping out," she said.
No citations were issued.
