MISSOULA - A starting offensive tackle for the University of Montana Grizzlies admitted to being in possession of illegal drugs at last month's Disco Bloodbath event during a Tuesday court appearance.

Trevor Poole's plea agreement calls for an 18-month suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty to being in possession of MDMA pills; the drug is commonly known as ecstasy.

Missoula Drug Task Force officers were working at the Disco Bloodbath event near the Wye on Oct. 28 when prosecutors say they saw Poole exchange cash for a plastic baggie. Suspecting a drug deal, the officers came up to him.

"Officers approached me and took me out, and I admitted to having the pills in my pocket," Poole said in court.

Poole was indefinitely suspended from the football team right after this incident. His sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.
