MISSOULA - Two former University of Montana football players are among five men arrested in the vicious baseball bat attack on a gas station clerk.

Andrew Badger, a safety for the Griz in 2010 and 2011, was arrested along with Timothy Parks, who played for UM until 2006 and once was an assistant coach at Hellgate High School.

The five men are accused of badly beating a 31-year-old clerk during a robbery at Jay's Mart on Reserve and 39th Street early Tuesday morning.

Also arrested were Cruz Bernardi and Devon Kamaka and Ikaika Kamaka.

Investigators are also looking for a sixth suspect.

Detectives interviewed the five men last night at the Missoula Police Department and arrested them on charges that include robbery and assault with a weapon.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in court Friday.
