A suspect in a weekend break in and theft at the Helena water treatment plant is arrested in Missoula.
43-year-old Paul Hamilton is believed to have broken into the Ten Mile Water Treatment Plant near Helena early Sunday morning.
He allegedly stole a pickup truck from inside and drove it through a fence. The vehicle was found south of Missoula Monday. It was said to be badly damaged and mechanically unsound.
Because the value of the stolen property is more than $1,500, he faces felony charges.
Hamilton will be sent back to Lewis and Clark County to face charges of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief.
