The investigation continues in the case of Nicole Waller of Kalispell, who was reported missing more than a month ago in eastern Montana.
We spoke with the Flathead County Sheriff's office Tuesday about the latest details in the case.
Sheriff Chuck Curry tells us that while his office is not the lead investigator in this case, his understanding is that the Roosevelt County Sheriff's office continues to investigate Waller's disappearance.
They are working with the FBI and other government agencies to determine why Waller's car was left abandoned in the Poplar area.
Waller, a Kalispell native, was believed to be heading home from a trip to the Sidney area.
(March 7, 2013) Law enforcement agencies are still investigating the disappearance of Nicole Waller in northeastern Montana.
A 1999 maroon Ford Expedition belonging to Waller was found abandoned February 14th in Poplar on the Fort Peck Reservation.
Waller's vehicle was found locked on the side of the road after she reportedly left the Sidney-Fairview area for Kalispell. It's not clear why she had stopped in the area.
