BUTTE - Fishery experts will meet in Butte to discuss a statewide plan for improving fish habitat and access.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks fishery biologists are hosting the public meeting that will set a draft plan for fisheries over the next 6 years.

This long term plan would involve fishery management of habitat improvement and protection, fishing access and angling opportunities.

Tonight a public meeting on the statewide fisheries plan will be held. Fish biologists are coming to Butte from Helena and Bozeman to educate the public on the management plan. The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the Best Western Butte Plaza Inn.
