With divisionals wrapped up after this weekend, six local teams found out that they will have a shot at bringing home the plaque as state champions. Class AA's lone local representative is the Bozeman Hawks. They earned the second seat out of the East and will take on Glacier in the opening round. In Class A, the lady Maroons of Butte Central earned the number two seed out of the southwest and will take on Frenchtown to start. Joining the Maroons is Belgrade, who won the Central division crown this weekend and will take on Laurel. Class B's lone local representative is Townsend who will square off against Florence Carlton. And in Class C, Manhattan Christian will play Westby/Grenora while Gardiner takes on Wibaux County.
All games start this Thursday, November 8th, at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman. It's a double elimination tournament with the championship matches scheduled for Saturday the 10th.
