State Games audition National Anthem singers

The Big Sky State Games is holding its Fourth Annual National Anthem Contest to determine who will perform the anthem at Opening Ceremonies on Friday July 19, 2013 in Billings. The contest is open to Montana residents of all ages.

To enter, contestants are asked to post a video of themselves singing the National Anthem on the Big Sky State Games Facebook page (www.facebook.com/bigskygames.org) OR post a video on You Tube (www.youtube.com) and send the video link via email to lindsay@bigskygames.org. Contestants are then also required to email their name, age, mailing address, and email address to lindsay@bigskygames.org.

Singers must be able to sing the Anthem without accompaniment, and they must be able to sing in Billings on July 19. The top five videos/entrants will be determined by a panel of judges, after which the public will vote for its favorite performance.

Video posting will be allowed March 11 through April 26. The winner will be notified by May 31, 2013, and must commit to attending the Opening Ceremonies on July 19, 2013. For more information, go to http://www.bigskygames.org.
