BILLINGS - Two Billings police negotiators are on scene talking with a wanted fugitive on the city's south side. Billings Police Lt. Kevin Iffland says the suspect is armed and has been making threats.

Iffland says it appears this could take a while. He also says streets surrounding the home at the corner of 28th Street and 3rd Avenue South will remain closed for safety purposes.

FIRST REPORT:

3:15 p.m. Billings - A standoff on Billings south side has federal and local law enforcement standing with weapons drawn outside a home on the corner of 28th Street and 3rd Avenue South. Multiple streets are blocked off in the area.
