BOZEMAN - The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of Southwest Montana in effect through this evening.
The watch includes, Jefferson, Madison, Park and Gallatin counties. More thunderstorms, capable of producing heavy rainfall, are expected to move through the area this afternoon. The areas of particular concern include burn scar areas from last year's wildfires. Those who live in burn scar areas should have a plan of action ready and be prepared to move quickly if rain should develops.
Tune in tonight at 5:30 p.m. when meteorologist Mike Heard will have the latest storm information.
