Sola Cafe is back open after being shut down by a fire four months ago. The fire on September 14, 2012 caused extensive smoke damage to the restaurant. Nearly all of the dry wall and ceilings had to be replaced, along with the electrical system.
Sola re-opened its doors Monday morning to the delight of regular customers. Sola's owner says she's greatful for all of the community support. "Its very humbling to have people come up and tell me how much Sola means to them and how much the place and how much the place to gather means to them. That's why I do this this, its why I get up every morning." says Sola owner Tiffany Lach.
The fire caused more than $200,000 in damages.
