A moist NW flow aloft produced scattered snow showers Friday afternoon through Saturday morning across Montana and several areas are reporting moderate to heavy snow west of the divide.
A Winter Weather Advisory was issued to cover this event last night from the Missoula NWS and expires at noon Saturday for areas west of the divide. Slick and snow covered roadways will continue this morning.
Many of the reports are from mountain snotel sites below.
Georgetown Lake 5" at the Peterson Meadows snotel site
8 miles SE of Philipsburg at the Warm Springs Snotel site 3"
9 miles East of Polson at the Moss Peak snotel 13"
