At 9am this morning snow is falling and accumulating over the following mountain passes:
Big Hole Pass, Homestake Pass, Elk Park, Georgetown Lake, MacDonald Pass
Winter Weather Advisory's are up for all of western Montana including the Butte/Blackfoot region, Helena up to Glacier National Park and for Southern Madison and Southern Gallatin counties through Thursday morning.
Snow accumulations of 3"-6" is likely and up to 10" or more is possible for higher elevated passes.
Gusty winds will produce periods of blowing and dritfing snow.
