HELENA - Thomas Verhasselt of Sidney has claimed a $10,000 Hot Lotto prize with a ticket at Reynold's Market. He matched five Hot Lotto numbers for his $10,000 win.

"I usually don't add the Sizzler, but I will from now on," said Thomas. Had he added Sizzler for an extra $1, he would have multiplied his win to $30,000.

The drawing was held on Saturday and he went back to Reynold's Market to check his ticket. The store clerk informed him that the store couldn't pay out a win that big. "They told me I won $10,000," said Thomas. He hadn't known until then what his ticket was worth.

Thomas currently doesn't have any plans for his Lottery winnings. The Hot Lotto jackpot is estimated at $1.25 million for Saturday's drawing.
