Shooting in Butte leaves one man injured

A 23-year-old male was transported to St. James hospital late Saturday night after suffering a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Officers were dispatched to the corner of Wilson and elm streets on a report that a male had been shot.

Law enforcement says they have several persons of interest in this case.

These individuals are not in custody at this time.

The shooting remains under investigation.
