Sheridan man dies from injuries sustained in I-90 rollover

CARDWELL - A Sheridan man has died from injuries he sustained in a rollover crash on Interstate 90.

Patrick Mumme, 31, died from serious injuries Sunday night at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

Mumme was reportedly traveling westbound on I-90 near Cardwell around 4 a.m. Sunday when he went off the road and rolled his vehicle several times.

An ALERT helicopter was called into the crash site but was unable to respond due to poor weather conditions.

Mumme was transported by ambulance to Missoula. He was wearing a seat belt.

Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
