Senior citizen burned, beaten and robbed in Laurel home

BILLINGS- The Laurel Police Department is on the lookout for the suspect in a violent robbery which took place early Saturday morning.

The Laurel Police Department responded to the 10 block of Wyoming Avenue shortly before 3 a.m., where they discovered a 75-year-old male victim who had been beaten and burned.

The victim, who remains unidentified, was treated at a hospital and later released.

Police say the suspect gained entry to the house, assaulted the victim and sthen stole the victim's wallet.

Police believe there is only on suspect in the case, and they believe he fled from the home on foot after the assault.
