BILLINGS - Former Montana governor, Brian Schweitzer, is teaming up with the investment firm the Clinton Group to shake up Stillwater Mining Company.
Bloomberg News reports that Schweitzer will be part of an eight-person slate nominated by the Clinton group for the board of directors of Stillwater.
Back in December, the Clinton group called for the retirement of CEO Frank McAllister.
"The only board of directors that is doing work is the U.S. Congress," Schweitzer is quoted as saying in the Bloomberg article.
Stillwater is scheduled to report fourth quarter results on Wednesday.
