BOZEMAN - Fire officials will hold a public meeting in Bozeman on Tuesday night to update the public on the North Eightmile and Horsetail Fires.
The meeting in Bozeman will be held at the Montana Weatherization Training Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Also Tuesday night, a public meeting will be held at the Paradise Valley Fire Station to update the public on the Emigrant and Sheep Fires.
That meeting will start at 7:00 p.m.
The Miner Paradise Complex of fires includes four separate wildfires, that cover some 2,200 acres.
The Emigrant Fire is approximately 2,000 acres; the Sheep Fire is 133 acres; the Horsetail Fire is approximately 15 acres; the North Eightmile Fire is approximately 80 acres.
Officials reports only 5 percent containment on the fires.
The Emigrant Fire has one evacuation order now in place to the south.
No evacuations are in place along the north boundary or in the Chico area.
Currently 222 fire personnel are assigned to the Miner Paradise Complex, and additional resources have been requested.
