Police looking for suspect in attempted abduction in Bozeman

BOZEMAN - Police are looking for information about an attempted abduction in Bozeman Friday night.

At around 8:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 at about 8:25 p.m., after a 25-year-old female reported while walking on the 200 block of Hunter's Way, a car pulled up next to her and a male got out and walked towards her. The male grabbed the female, a short struggle ensued and the female was able to run away from the male. The male got into the car and drove away.

The vehicle is described as a red, two door sedan. The female went to her residence and called 911.

The female described the white male as being six foot two inches tall, stocky, buzz cut style hair, with a short beard, wearing a white t-shirt and cut off blue jean shorts.

The Bozeman Police Department is actively investigating this incident and encourages the public to contact the Bozeman Police Department at 582-2000 or Crimestoppers at 586-1131 with any information that would assist detectives with this incident.
