YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - Plows have started the task of clearing the roads inside Yellowstone National Park.
Due to the sequestration, plows have started clearing roads a little later than usual. The plows move at a slow pace, usually averaging around a mile to two per hour in the clearing process. Currently the plows are working to clear the west entrance to Mammoth and Old Faithful.
Roads will begin to open, weather permitting, as early as April 26, with the final roads within the park estimated to be open by early June.
