HELENA - Planned Parenthood of Montana will sue the state over an abortion bill that recently became law.
House Bill 391 requires minors to get their parents permission before getting an abortion.
Planned Parenthood confirms with MTN News it is currently facing delays, but will file its lawsuit sometime this month.
Gov. Steve Bullock allowed the bill to become law without his signature, so pro-choice groups could move forward with a legal challenge.
Bullock believes the courts will find the bill violates the right to privacy and will quickly be taken off the books.
