Supporters of the UM football team say they have more than 400 signatures on a petition to oust Pat Williams from the Board of Regents. And they've taken that petition online. The group sent a letter to Governor Steve Bullock, asking him to take executive action to remove Williams. And key senators in the state legislature also received a letter, urging them not to confirm Williams. Williams...in a New York Times article printed last week...said that UM needed to stop recruiting "thugs" to the football team. Williams told us he was only referring to a few student athletes.
