BUTTE - Before we go all out into St. Patty's Day, there is a Finnish holiday that has to be recognized in Butte too.
The crowning of St. Urho brought a packed house into the Helsinki Yacht Club this afternoon.
Lee Waananen was crowned this year's St. Urho. He says, "For me it's a piece of my heritage and my culture. My family home was just right down the road here which is now a hole in the ground. For this being the last remaining sanction for all of Fin Town it's an honor to take this and bring my heritage and my traditions on and go from there."
Crystal Cook is this year's Lady Urho. She says, "I'm doing it for my Grandpa Raiha. He died about a good 7 years ago and he was the greatest man ever and he passed down this heritage to me and I'm doing it in his name for Wesley Raiha."
The newly crowned St. Urho and Lady Urho arrived at the Helsinki by 2 p.m. Saturday to see it fill up for the crowning at 4 p.m.
