Today several members of the Bozeman Ice dogs team, joined several national guard members to pack up boxes for those a long ways from home. These boxes typically have several items for the soldiers, including some to remind them of Montana.

One of the men helping put together the boxes today, was on the receiving end last year. He says he knows what it's like to get one.

"Letter from the kids. It was really nice, seeing that, people were actually appreciating it. It was actually comforting, you know, knowing that people back at home were really thinking about us, you know kind of looking out for our best welfare and getting stuff mainly from Montana," says Private First Class Joshua McNeal with the U.S. Army.

Approximately 450 packages will be sent out, at a cost of about $150 apiece. This is the third year Adopt a Sox has been doing this.
