BOZEMAN - Being a new teacher can be challenging, making sure your classroom has all the equipment it needs.
In this week's One Class at a Time, KBZK and First Interstate Bank help a fourth grade class at Morning Star Elementary, thanks to a caring parent.
This week, fourth grade teacher Aryelle Todd received $250 to be used to purchase a digital camera and a digital portable boom box for her fourth grade class.
"Our digital camera broke at the beginning of the year, so we couldn't take class pictures, so we really needed a new one, so I had a marvelous mother go ahead and talk about what do you need and I said we need a digital camera and my CD player that we use all the time during writing does not work very well. So she went ahead and put together this grant with me and it's awesome," Todd said.
"She's a first-year teacher and she needs a lot of things. She's and awesome teacher and I know she'll use these things to the best amount and best ability. She'll be a great teacher with all these things," said Annette Carson who nominated the class for the award.
