BOZEMAN - A high profile New Jersey Republican was in Bozeman this afternoon doing a little fundraising for gubernatorial candidate Rick Hill.
"People in Montana and people in New Jersey don't put up with BS. They have a low BS tolerance," Gov. Chris Christie said.
Christie spoke at a fundraiser for Hill this afternoon at Arlin's Aircraft Service hangar at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
In addition to evoking lots of laughter, Christie told guests Hill has a career that merits respect and said that's the kind of person people should want in office.
Hill says it is great to have Christie speak at his event.
"It's just fun. I mean, he's a very entertaining person, very sincere, very articulate, very dedicated to the people of New Jersey, and he is bringing a message of opportunity to Montana as well," Hill said.
Hill is running against by Attorney General Steve Bullock. With only several weeks to go, polls show the race for Montana governor is very tight.
